Recessed LED Aluminum Channel Profile, 25 x 7 mm, 12.5 mm Inner Width, 2.5 m Length

The 5-LW1707A is a recessed-mount aluminum channel profile that houses and protects LED flexible strip lighting in architectural coves, millwork and ceiling details. It is extruded from 6063-T5 aluminum with an anodized surface and measures 25 x 7 mm in cross-section with a 12.5 mm inner channel, accepting flexible strips up to 12 mm wide. Standard length is 2.5 m (98 in). Finishes include silver anodized, white painted and black anodized. The extrusion acts as a heat sink and mechanical shield for the strip. Diffusers in transparent, milky/opal, matt opal and black are fabricated from UV-resistant Bayer PC and PMMA. Paired with the BF2835 12 V DC strip, the assembly delivers 14.4 W and 1,555 lm per meter at 6500 K with CRI 80, a 50 mm minimum cut unit of 3 LEDs, and a rated life above 50,000 hours.
