A 22 AWG two-conductor parallel speaker wire supplied on a 500 ft (152.5 m) roll. The red and black jacket coloring provides straightforward polarity identification during pulls, making the cable suitable for speaker runs in commercial audio systems, installed sound and structured wiring. The conductor is formed from 17 strands of 0.16 mm tinned stranded copper with a nominal diameter of 0.76 mm (ref) and a DC resistance of 59.4 Ω/km at 20°C. PVC insulation is rated 300V and 80°C, holds a 2000V AC per minute dielectric test, and meets a minimum unaged tensile strength of 10.3 MPa at 100% minimum elongation. Overall jacket dimensions are 1.6 ± 0.10 mm × 3.2 ± 0.15 mm. Manufactured to the UL2468 series specification, referenced against UL758-2017, and compliant with RoHS 1.0 (6-substance).
