An 18 AWG, 2-conductor speaker wire supplied on a 500 ft (152.5 m) roll. Constructed with 34/0.16 tinned stranded copper conductors and PVC insulation, it suits permanent speaker installations, professional audio systems and home theater wiring runs where routing flexibility is required. The cable is rated 300V at 80°C, with a nominal conductor diameter of 1.08 mm and a 0.38 mm nominal insulation wall. The finished cross-section measures 2.1 mm x 4.2 mm. Conductor resistance is 30 Ω/km at 20°C and insulation is dielectric tested at 2000V AC for one minute. Red and black jackets provide polarity identification during termination.
