A 20 AWG, 2-conductor speaker wire supplied on a 500 ft (152.5 m) roll. Red and black PVC insulation allows straightforward polarity identification during installation, supporting audio distribution runs in commercial and residential buildings. Each conductor uses 21 strands of 0.16 mm tinned stranded copper for a nominal conductor diameter of 0.85 mm and a conductor resistance of 50 O/km at 20 C. The cable is rated 300 V and 80 C continuous, with a 0.38 mm nominal insulation wall and a finished cross-section of approximately 1.8 mm x 3.6 mm. Dielectric withstand is tested at 2000 V AC per the 2468 series specification. Construction complies with RoHS 1.0 (6-substance) environmental standards and carries a one-year warranty.
