The CA2-22RB-100 is a 22 AWG, 2-conductor speaker wire supplied in 100 ft (30.5 m) rolls. It uses tinned stranded copper conductors in a 17/0.16TS strand configuration with color-coded red and black PVC insulation for straightforward polarity identification during installation. Typical applications include home theater systems, commercial audio installations, and professional sound reinforcement. The wire is rated 300V at 80°C and carries a nominal conductor resistance of 59.4 Ω/km at 20°C. Insulation is a PVC compound with 0.38 mm nominal wall thickness, a minimum tensile strength of 10.3 MPa and minimum unaged elongation of 100%, producing an overall cross section of 1.6 mm x 3.2 mm. Dielectric withstand testing is performed at 2000V AC per the UL2468 series specification.
