18 AWG 2-Conductor Speaker Wire, Red/Black, UL2468, 300V, 100 ft Roll

An 18 AWG, 2-conductor parallel speaker wire supplied on a 100 ft (30.5 m) roll. Red/black color coding distinguishes polarity during pull and termination. Intended for home theater systems, distributed audio and professional audio equipment where a color-coded parallel conductor cable is required. Each conductor uses 34 strands of tinned copper in a 34/0.16TS configuration with a nominal conductor diameter of 1.08 mm and DC resistance of 30 ohm/km at 20 degrees C. PVC insulation is rated 300V and 80 degrees C, with a nominal wall thickness of 0.38 mm and an overall cable cross-section of 2.1 mm x 4.2 mm. Dielectric withstand test rating is 2000V AC, and unaged insulation tensile strength is 10.3 MPa at 100 percent minimum elongation.
