The CA4-20 is a 4-conductor flat cable constructed with 20 AWG tinned stranded copper in a 21/0.16TS configuration, intended for commercial and industrial wiring runs where multiple conductors are carried in a single jacketed profile. It is sold by the foot from rolls of 967 feet, reducing splices and junctions over longer runs. Conductors are PVC insulated to a nominal 0.38 mm wall, producing a flat cross section of 1.8 mm by 3.6 mm. The cable is rated 300 V at 80 degrees C, with a conductor resistance of 50 ohms/km at 20 degrees C and a 2000 V AC dielectric withstand test.
