An 18 AWG 2-conductor speaker wire supplied in a 50 ft (15.5 m) roll. The red and black jacket coloring simplifies polarity identification during installation, making it suitable for in-wall, rack, and general audio wiring in commercial and residential environments. Each conductor consists of 34 strands of 0.16 mm tinned stranded copper (34/0.16TS) with a nominal conductor diameter of 1.08 mm and a conductor resistance of 30 ohms/km at 20 degrees C. The PVC insulation carries a 300 V rating, an 80 degrees C temperature rating, and a 2000 V AC dielectric test in the UL2468 flat parallel construction.
