Edgelit aluminum exit sign for egress marking in commercial and industrial buildings. The extruded aluminum housing accepts single or double face configurations and mounts top, end, back, or recessed using the included aluminum canopy, with self-adhesive chevron appliques provided for directional indication. Dual 120/277 VAC input at 50/60 Hz drives red LED illumination through a UV-stabilized ultra-clear acrylic edgelit panel for uniform brightness, with rated LED life of 50,000 hours. EM models include a 4.8 V maintenance-free NiCd battery and a fully automatic two-rate solid-state charger that recharges a discharged battery in 24 hours and supports a minimum 90 minutes of emergency illumination. A push-to-test switch and charge/power LED indicator support code compliance testing over a 0°C to 50°C ambient range. UL Listed for damp locations under UL 924. Five-year warranty on electronics and housing, with the battery prorated for five years.
