This infrared door sensor switch operates on 24V DC and automatically controls lamps based on door position or proximity. It suits sliding doors, cabinet and wardrobe doors, wine cabinet glass doors and shoe cabinet doors, switching the connected LED load on when the door opens and off when it closes. The switch carries a 5 A rated current and a maximum load of 60 W, with a 10 cm sensing distance. The concealed sensor head measures 12.3 mm in diameter by 12.1 mm long for an 11 mm drilled opening, and an exposed base of 22 mm x 13 mm is included for surface installation. Wiring is by a 2 m DuPont male input cable and a 15 cm DuPont female output lead. The plastic housing is finished in black for unobtrusive placement.
