The A-E8-R18-5CCT is an 8-inch round slim LED downlight designed for new construction installations in commercial and residential applications. Edge-lit and ultra-slim at 0.43 inches thick, it requires no existing recessed housing or junction box, mounting directly into a drywall opening with a J-box installed in the ceiling beam. Wet location rated, it is suitable for bathrooms, laundry rooms, covered porches, and garage work areas. The fixture operates at 120V/60Hz, draws 18W, and delivers up to 1,504 lumens depending on the selected color temperature. Five CCT settings — 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K — are field-selectable via a switch on the unit. CRI exceeds 90, beam angle is 120°, and the rated lifespan is 50,000 hours. Triac dimming is supported from 100% down to 10%, with no flicker. IC-rated construction allows direct contact with insulation. Operating temperature range is -4°F to 113°F. The fixture is ETL Listed and ENERGY STAR qualified. It carries a 5-year limited warranty.
