Photocell Shorting Cap, ANSI C136.10, 0–480V, IP65, Keeps Light On Continuously

The LT1SC Shorting Cap is a twist-lock device designed to disable a photocell socket and maintain continuous lamp operation. It installs directly into any ANSI C136.10-compliant photocell receptacle, making it suitable for parking lots, roadways, and facility lighting circuits where uninterrupted illumination is required regardless of ambient light conditions. The cap is rated for 0–480V and 15A, covering the full range of common commercial and industrial supply voltages. The cover is molded from anti-UV, impact-resistant polycarbonate (PC), and the base uses high-temperature-resistant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). The unit carries an IP65 ingress protection rating, with IP66 and IP67 variants available. Operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C. The LT1SC conforms to ANSI C136.10 and UL773 standards, with UL File No. E492075. A one-month warranty is included.
