PRIV-FILM is a self-adhesive PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) smart film designed for retrofit application to interior glass surfaces. When power is applied, the film transitions from frosted to transparent; when power is removed, it returns to a frosted, privacy state. Typical applications include conference room partitions, office glazing, healthcare environments, and any interior installation where on-demand visual privacy is required. The film operates through a 60W, 110V controller and is compatible with standard wall switch, remote, or app-based control. UV blocking is rated at ≥99% and IR blocking at ≥60%, supporting solar heat and glare management in addition to privacy control. The film carries an IP20 rating and is intended for non-waterproof interior use, with a 1-year warranty and a rated LED lifetime of 50,000 hours. It is available in variable widths and custom opacity levels to accommodate project-specific requirements.
