The B-D1-IPE is a wood composite polymer (WPC) exterior decking board finished in an Ipe wood tone. It suits patios, rooftop terraces, boardwalks and commercial exterior walking surfaces where a seamless, no-gap deck surface is required. Each plank measures 144 in. x 5.7 in. x 0.9 in. and weighs 22 lb. Boards are produced by co-extrusion, bonding a high-density recycled plastic and wood fiber core to a polymer outer cap for 360-degree coverage. The cap provides UV, scratch, wear and stain resistance, with a 3D wood grain texture for slip resistance. The environmental rating is waterproof, the rated service life is 25 years, and no routine maintenance is required. Installation uses a patented hidden side-clip system fastened to AL02 65 x 25 joists, with a 5 mm gap at end-to-end board extensions. The manufacturer lists a 5-year warranty.
