Complete LED linear lighting kits, built around your run
Tell us how long the run is, how wide the strip should be, and what colour you want. We match the profile to the strip, size the power supply to the load, and put the controller, remote, wire and connectors in the same box — so what arrives is a light, not a parts list.
SMART LED KIT — 16 FT | 8MM | 3000K

Aluminum profiles ship cut to 4 ft lengths so the kit travels as a normal parcel.
One kit powers one continuous run. Two separate runs need two kits — each with its own supply and controller.
Material only. Tax and shipping are calculated at checkout.
What's in every kit
- COB LED strip — continuous light, no visible dots
- Aluminum profile, cut to 4 ft for shipping
- Opal diffuser, included with the profile
- End caps and mounting clips
- Power supply sized to your run
- Smart WiFi controller — Alexa, Google and Tuya
- Wall remote
- Hook-up wire, AC cord and connectors
How we pick the parts
The profile has to fit the strip
An 8 mm strip needs a channel wider than 8 mm, and the diffuser has to match the profile it clips into. We pair them for you rather than leaving it to a spec sheet.
The supply has to match the strip
Same voltage, and at least twice the run's draw so it isn't running flat out. A 32 ft 8 mm run pulls 100 W, so it ships with a 200 W supply.
Long runs get fed from both ends
Past 32 ft, a single 24 V feed dims noticeably by the far end. Our 48 and 64 ft kits include two supplies and the extra wire to power the run from both ends.
Installing your kit
Every kit ships as a matched set, so the work is assembly rather than design. Read the driver's own instructions too, and check anything permanent against your local electrical code.
Plan the run before you cut anything
Measure the finished run and decide where the driver will live — it needs to stay reachable and ventilated, not sealed inside the channel. One kit is one continuous run. Runs over 32 ft ship with two drivers because a single 24 V feed dims noticeably by the far end; those get fed from opposite ends, each driver carrying its own half.
Cut the strip and the profile to length
These are Free Cut COB strips, so you can cut anywhere along the run rather than only at marked points — cut square, between the copper pads, with sharp scissors. Aluminum profile ships in 4 ft pieces (a full 98 in stick would go as oversize freight), so cut the last piece with a fine-tooth hacksaw and file the burr off before anything slides in.
Mount the profile, then seat the strip
Fix the profile first with the clips or its own tape, checking it sits flat — a bowed channel shows up as a wavy line of light once it's lit. Peel the 3M backing and press the strip into the channel in one pass, starting at the feed end. Leave the diffuser off for now.
Wire the strip to the driver
Use the 18 AWG two-conductor wire in the kit and mind polarity — the strip is marked + and −, and it will simply not light if they are reversed. Keep the driver's load inside its rating: the kit already sizes it with roughly double the run's draw in reserve, so it isn't running flat out. Do not join two kits onto one driver.
Power up and test before you close it
Power on with the diffuser still off. Sight down the whole run: even brightness end to end means the feed is right, while a dim far end on a long run usually means only one of the two drivers is connected. Once it looks right, clip the diffuser in and fit the end caps.
Questions
- Can I cut the strip to an exact length?
- Yes. These are Free Cut COB strips — you can cut them anywhere along the run, not just at fixed marks. Kits are sold in 16 ft steps, so buy the step above your measurement and trim on site.
- Why is the profile cut into 4 ft pieces?
- A full stick is 98 inches, which ships as oversize freight. Cut to 4 ft the whole kit travels as a normal parcel, which is faster and much cheaper for you.
- Do I need two kits for two separate runs?
- Yes. One kit is one continuous run with one power supply and one controller. Two runs in different rooms need their own of each.
- Can I add or remove a part?
- Add the kit to your cart and use "Ungroup" — that turns it into ordinary cart lines you can edit or remove individually.
