Your project

The problem isn't your work. It's the material you install.

  • ✗You lose jobs because you're slow to quote. The client asks for a price during the visit, you send it two days later, and by the time you follow up they've hired someone else.
  • ✗Wood fence generates callbacks. Within months the boards warp, stain with mold and go grey — and the client blames you, not the material.
  • ✗White PVC looks cheap. Florida sun turns it yellow and brittle, and the client who pays well doesn't want it on their house.
  • ✗You compete on price against lower-grade wood. You lose projects to cheaper quotes built on pine that will fail in two years.
  • ✗Your clients ask for the modern horizontal-slat fence — the one from the photos — and you don't have a local supplier who sells it complete and in stock.

It isn't your workmanship. It's that wood can't take the Florida climate, and when the material fails the client thinks the installation was bad.

Every warranty callback comes out of your pocket: hours and material you don't invoice.

And as long as the material you offer is wood, you compete against anyone with a truck and a saw.

The structure is already solved. So is the material.

1·3·6

One aluminum structure. Three configurations. Six finishes. The skeleton never changes — post, base, twin rails and brackets are identical across all three versions. The only thing that changes is the panel and its spacing. Learn the install once and quote three products off the same inventory.

Inside the panel

This isn't ordinary composite. It has a core of natural fiber and high-density recycled plastic, factory-sealed under a protective outer skin. The skin takes the sun, the rain and the wear. The core is never exposed.

Composition: 60% natural fiber · 35% recycled polyethylene · 5% additives. Hardware: 97% aluminum. Black by powder coating, silver by anodizing.

With wood or PVC

  • You improvise the structure on site with wood posts and rails
  • You cut, level, nail, seal and paint
  • You quote at night, hunting prices for loose material
  • The material fades and the client notices by the second summer
  • Wood absorbs moisture, swells and grows mold
  • You come back in fourteen months to replace boards

With the 1·3·6 System

  • Post, cast base, twin rails and brackets per module, all aluminum
  • You assemble the skeleton and slide the panel in
  • You configure the project on your phone, in front of the client
  • Color fastness grade 4.5 after accelerated artificial aging, EN 15534-1
  • 0.18% water absorption, ASTM D570
  • You deliver and you don't go back

You close on the first visit

Configure in front of the client and give the number before you get back in the truck.

You deliver and don't go back

Factory-sealed protective skin, 0.18% water absorption and grade 4.5 color fastness. It doesn't warp, doesn't splinter, doesn't get repainted.

You move up a project bracket

Three configurations across six finishes and two frame colors: thirty-six combinations to show the client in the same visit.

The number for your next project is two minutes away.

When to propose it

Property lines with a close neighbour. Pool perimeters. Screening AC units, pumps and tanks. Restaurant patios with outdoor service.

“This is the one that lets nothing through. No gaps. And you'll never paint it.”

When to propose it

Gardens where the client wants privacy without losing sun for the planting. Patios where a solid wall feels boxed in. Communities that cap solid fence height.

“Privacy where you sit, light and air up top. The patio doesn't turn into a box.”

The eighth CF01 panel is cut at the head to receive the open top. It's the only cut in the whole system.

Top and bottom rail1.2 × 1.3 × 67.7 in · 4.9 lb eachThe panel slides in guided. The system handles levelling, not the installer's hand.
L-fix bracket2.05 × 0.94 × 2.2 in · ×2 per moduleRail-to-post joint with no welding and no special tool.
Post side cover0.55 × 0.94 × 70.9 inHides the fixing. The post stays clean on both faces.
Post cap3.35 × 3.35 × 1.3 inSeals the top. No water inside the post.
Spacer and spacer cover1.89 × 0.71 × 1.97 inSet the exact gap between slats. Identical on every module.

Six steps. Two ways to anchor. One cut in the whole system.

In-ground.

The post goes 20 in into the earth. For natural ground and garden.

On a base.

The aluminum base is fixed with four 3/8 in × 3 in expansion anchors. For slab, pavement, retaining wall and existing terrace.

The sequence — Privacy

  1. 1Set the post — buried 20 in or bolted to a base plate.
  2. 2Install the bottom rail.
  3. 3Slide the panels in one at a time, leaving 5/32 in of clearance against the post.
  4. 4Install the top rail, watching the orientation of the L-fix brackets.
  5. 5Fit the post side cover on both faces.
  6. 6Finish with the post cap.

Mid-Trellis adds two steps: the head cut on the eighth CF01 panel and fitting two spacers in each of the three top slots. Full-Trellis adds spacers across the whole panel run.

Why the 5/32 in matters

The panel's linear thermal expansion coefficient is 37.1 µin/in·°F. A 69-1/4 in panel expands about 1/8 in across a 54 °F swing. The 5/32 in gap isn't an assembly tolerance — it's the calculated expansion. Closing it is what deforms a panel two summers in.

Values reported by the manufacturer on the factory test certificates. Your advisor can send the full spec sheet.

The dry season runs November to April.

That's the window when most of South Florida's yards get built. The projects you quote today are the ones you install in season. The material is in the Miami warehouse. There's no waiting list and no container in transit.

Common questions

How much wind does it take? Is it hurricane rated?+

The manufacturer reports a wind-resistance test passed at Beaufort force 9, equivalent to a strong gale of 47–54 mph. That is not a hurricane-force test, and it is not a Florida Product Approval or a Miami-Dade NOA. The manufacturer also states that the composite panel is not structural lumber. Installation must meet local permit requirements, and the structural design of any permitted enclosure is the responsibility of the professional who seals it. The full factory spec sheet is available through a technical advisor.

Does it fade in the Florida sun?+

The outer layer is a protective polymer sealed over the core at the factory: the core is never exposed. Accelerated artificial aging under EN 15534-1 returns color fastness grade 4.5. Water absorption is 0.18% under ASTM D570.

Can I install it myself, or do I need training?+

Six steps for the Privacy version. One cut in the entire system, and only on Mid-Trellis. Two anchoring methods: post buried 20 in, or an aluminum base plate with four expansion anchors. All three configurations use the same skeleton, so you learn it once. Bilingual technical support at the Doral showroom.

How much more is this than a wood fence?+

The material costs more per linear foot. The project leaves more net margin: your crew installs faster, you don't go back on warranty, and you compete in a bracket with less competition. Price your project above and compare it against your last wood job.

Do you have it in stock, or is it ordered in?+

A 50,000+ sq ft warehouse in Doral. Same-day pickup subject to finish availability — the calculator shows live stock for the finish you pick.

You install too. Are you competing with me?+

PoliLED supplies material to contractors. We only take on installation where the end client arrives without a contractor. If you bring the project, the project is yours.

Do you deliver?+

Free delivery within 10 miles of the Doral warehouse, and free same-day pickup at the warehouse. Beyond that radius an advisor quotes freight based on the volume of your project — fence sections are six feet long and travel on a truck, not by parcel.

Can I see the material before I buy?+

The Doral showroom has the system built. The sample box holds a piece of each of the six finishes so you can show your client.

Two ways forward.
