The LT1SC Shorting Cap is a twist-lock device designed to disable a photocell socket and maintain continuous lamp operation. It installs directly into any ANSI C136.10-compliant photocell receptacle, making it suitable for parking lots, roadways, and facility lighting circuits where uninterrupted illumination is required regardless of ambient light conditions. The cap is rated for 0-480V and 15A, covering the range of common commercial and industrial supply voltages. The cover is molded from anti-UV, impact-resistant polycarbonate (PC), and the base uses high-temperature-resistant polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). The unit carries an IP65 ingress protection rating, with IP66 and IP67 variants available, and operates from -40°C to +70°C. The LT1SC conforms to ANSI C136.10 and UL773, listed under UL File No. E492075, and is supplied with a one-year warranty.
