Recessed Edgelit Aluminum Exit Sign, 120/277V, Single or Double Face, Red LED

The RELZXTE Recessed Edgelit Aluminum Exit Sign is designed for recessed drywall or drop ceiling installation in commercial and institutional buildings, with optional wall recessed mounting. Single and double face configurations use red LED illumination behind a UV-stabilized ultra-clear acrylic edgelit panel for uniform light distribution across the sign face; double face units include a factory-installed silver or white mylar background panel. Dual 120/277 VAC input (50/60 Hz) is standard, LED service life is rated at 50,000 hours, and the unit draws 2 W. Battery backup models use a 4.8 V maintenance-free rechargeable NiCd battery with a 24-hour recharge cycle and an internal solid-state transfer switch for a minimum 90-minute emergency discharge. The extruded aluminum housing has a detachable trim assembly for service access, and a charge-rate indicator with push-to-test switch supports code compliance testing. UL Listed for damp locations (0°C to 50°C) and built to meet UL924, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NEC and OSHA requirements. Five-year warranty on all electronics and housing, with the battery prorated for five years.
